Cost per Task (Agent)

Cost per task is a unit economics metric that captures the total resource spend, model inference, API calls, compute, and storage, attributable to a single agent task or workflow execution.

Tracking cost per task enables teams to compare the economic efficiency of different agent designs, identify workflows that are disproportionately expensive, and build business cases for optimisation.
