OpenTelemetry (AI Agents)

OpenTelemetry is the open-source observability standard for collecting, correlating, and exporting metrics, logs, and traces from distributed systems.

Applied to AI agents, it provides a vendor-neutral way to capture tool calls, model latency, token usage, and decision traces, enabling portability of observability data across governance platforms and monitoring backends.
