What is Prompt Registry?
A prompt registry is a versioned store of all system prompts, user prompt templates, and prompt chains used across an organisation's AI agents.
Why does Prompt Registry matter for AI agents?
It enables governance review, change tracking, rollback, and consistency across agent deployments. Sometimes written as a prompt register, it is the control point that makes prompt changes reviewable: every registered version can be evaluated against a golden dataset before it ships, and rolled back the moment quality regresses.
